The European University Viadrina has set its goals to continuously enhance teaching to adapt to a permanently changing international environment. Being primarily an objective of the chairs, our students are also encouraged to contribute their own suggestions and innovative ideas to create an interesting and diversified time when studying at the Viadrina.

“Active Portfolio Management”, a result of a students’ initiative, serves as the best evidence that looking beyond ones very own horizon pays out. Inspired by a similar project at Kansas State University (USA), Viadrina students, equipped with the necessary knowledge, now have the opportunity to manage a real investment portfolio. It can be noted with pride that this project has truly contributed to the high profile and appeal of the European University Viadrina.
